Mete Fanuscu, DDS

  • Graduated from University of Istanbul Faculty of Dentistry in 1990

  • Honored as ‘Young Scientist of the Year Award’ by International Society of Dental Ceramics with his ceramics research done at the Ivoclar R&D Laboratory (Liechtenstein) and Zurich University.

  • Completed specialty training in Advanced Prosthodontics at joint program UCLA School of Dentistry and Los Angeles Wadsworth Veterans Hospital in 1994

  • Completed subspecialty training in Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Implants at UCLA in 1999

  • Received ‘Annual Implant Research Grant Award’ from American Academy of Implant Dentistry with his work on implant biomechanics.

  • Previously served as associate professor and director of Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency training program at UCLA.

  • Teaches part-time at UCLA on a voluntary basis.

  • Published numerous scientific articles in academic journals.

  • Lectures on diagnosis and treatment planning, esthetics, implants and digital dentistry extensively worldwide.
